Welcome to my homepage!
I am an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Astronomy and Physics at
the University of Arizona, and one of the 5 core faculty of the
Theoretical Astrophysics Program at Arizona.
I carry out
research at the
interface of gravitational physics and astrophysics. The
goal of my work is to understand strong field gravitation
and to solve long-standing astrophysical puzzles. Much of my
work aims at modeling gravitational wave sources and multimessenger sources, especially those currently observed
by both the LIGO/Virgo instruments, and a number of missions observing across the electromagnetic spectrum.
I have the privilige of working with outstanding
students and postdocs at the University of Arizona.
Current group graduate
students:

Current group postdocs:

Wen Sixiang
I am always excited to work with students. Undergraduate and
graduate students interested in numerical relativity,
gravitation, gravitational wave source modeling, and
relativistic astrophysics are encouraged to contact me
via
email to schedule a meeting and discuss
about potential projects.
